Dios le bendiga todos! God bless you all! We have been receiving a lot of rain in August. It has been great for the farmers crops. Your love and support has made a lasting impact on the people of Guatemala.
UPDATE: August’s report of the ministry projects.
During the month twelve babies were brought to the ministry center. They came with their mother or family member. Five mothers came for their babies formula without their baby. There are seventeen babies in the formula project.
Praise the Lord for the sponsors of the students so they can attend Middle and High School. This project is called “Brighter Horizon’s”. There are twenty-five students currently enrolled. The meeting is held every third Saturday. At the meeting the students receive their money for the month. Look on the needs section in order to sponsor a student.
We received a donation of books in Spanish for pastors and leaders. Pastor Emilio and sister Astrid received three books each. We pray it will me a help in their ministry.
Carlos’s mother came to the Ministry Center.She was in need of money to travel to the Hospital in Guatemala City and expenses. Her son is dying of cancer. A donation came in to assist her.
We were excited pastor Emilio, his wife sister Rosy, Astrid, Rony, Saira, and Marvin came. They brought lunch for Vickie and I. Everyone had a great time of fellowship.
NEEDS:
More students are wanting to attend Middle and High School. I will let you know next month how many students desire to attend school next year. The end of this year several will be graduating. Without help many will not be able to attend school next year. The cost is $40 a month or $480 a year. Please be praying and considering to sponsor a student next year.
We need 60 people to give $25 to feed 40 families. It is our desire to help the poorest of the poor families.
