Restoration Ministries Newsletter
Greetings from Camotan, Guatemala
I want to catch you all up on the news since the 11th of March. My mother had become sick in the nursing home. I left on March the 11th to visit her. The plan was to spend time with her and return on the 19th of March to Guatemala. However, as we all know around the 14th of March the corona virus hit the world. I was unable to return to Guatemala. My return date to Guatemala was changed four times. I am very grateful to the Church of God World Missions for allowing me to stay in one of their duplexes for a month. I moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee where I stayed for six months with the Manley Family. They were a great blessing to me. I stayed with them from April until October the 2nd.
I finally arrived around noon on October 2nd in Guatemala City. Our friend allowed me to spend one night with her and her daughter. The next morning I left for Home in Camotan to finally reunite with my family after 7 months of being apart.
During the 7 months of being away Vickie, Melissa and my son-in law Gustavo did a great job of ministering to the mothers. They provided formula for their babies. Four cans of formula were provided for each of the babies in need of milk.
Food was also given to pastors and their families in need during the corona virus. They were provided with corn for tortillas, black beans, rice, sugar, coffee and other food items.
We are very grateful for all your prayers for Vickie,Melissa,Gustavo and the grandchildren. I wish you all many blessings for your prayers and support for us.
The teachers and students wanted to send their thanks to you for your continued support. This has been a difficult year for the students. If you are interested in sponsoring a student for next school year, let us know, and we will send you the information.
